NVMe controller for VMware VMs supported with Veeam?

Hi

I'm just wondering, if it is supported with Veeam Backup to use the virtual NVMe controller for VMware virtual machines? Couldn't find any information on that... I know, that NVME-oF is not supported with storage integration currently, but I don't know if the virtual NVMe controller is supported or not?

Yes, it is supported. What makes you think that it is not? All limitations for virtual machine hardware support are outlined on this page.

I just had this question, because I couldn't find en explicit article, where I can see if it's supported or not. And the fact that NVMe-oF is not supported with storage integration since a long time, I was concerned that a virtual NVMe adapter would not be supported either. Anyway, thanks a lot for the confirmation.
