I bought a veem essentials 7. I did not renewed my subscription, but when my subscrition ended there was veeam backup 8. Am I still able to obtain Veeam Backup 8 key from the site even if now my subscription is finished? It says i have Licensing Terms: Perpetual Part of: Essentials8.x

Hello, Upgrade is free of charge for those who are on an active maintenance. But once your licensed is expired, I believe you are not able to make a major upgrade. Patches and updates should be available though. Why haven`t you upgrade when you had a chance? Thanks!

Could elaborate on it? If you have v8, but got some problems with the license file, I would suggest going to customer portal on "Get support" tab and open a support case there. Choose Licensing case, not Technical one.
