offsite backup increments not merging

hi everyone,
we have an offsite backup forever forward incremental with no active or synthetic fulls. restore points to keep: 30
the backup is running to an offsite proxy with cifs share (nas) without problems every night.
except for the increments not being merged into the full backup file.
we now have 80 daily increments where its supposed to be 30.
veeam console is not showing any try to merge.
since it is offsite and too large of data, we cannot run a new active full.
what can we do? thanks alot.

This is unexpected, haven't you involved our support engineers? A closer look at your setup is required.
