Since the upgrade to V10, I get these messages on some of my backup jobs.
Unable to perform application-aware processing: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Standard) guest OS is not supported
I get that its no longer supported, but my jobs with 2003 servers all show as failed now. I'd rather not have to create all new backup jobs, with no indexing for these old server, to make this 'error' go away.
So the short question is, can I disable this alert?
Thanks.

Re: Option to disable certain messages
It sounds like you have your backup job set to "Require successful application-aware processing" for these VMs. Just set this setting to a least strict option for the entire job, or granularly for you Windows 2003 VMs only. Thanks!

Re: Option to disable certain messages
Man that was an easy fix. I must have went by that menu three times but missed it.
Thanks for the quick reply!
