We have just migrated to exchange 2010 from 2007. We are using Veeam for backups and it has worked great so far in both 2007 and 2010.
However we have noticed that during an exchange 2010 backup it appears that if users are connected to Exchange 2010 with outlook 2010 the user gets a logon prompt and must close and reopen outlook.
This only happens during a veeam backup.
Does anyone else experience this behavior?
This is all FC SAN and backup server is connected via FC using (san) mode for backup.

Re: Outlook logon prompt during exchange 2010 veeam backup
This is actually unexpected. They should not be getting this even if Exchange is down for extended periods of time. Could it be on-time issue after upgrade?davidb1234 wrote:However we have noticed that during an exchange 2010 backup it appears that if users are connected to Exchange 2010 with outlook 2010 the user gets a logon prompt and must close and reopen outlook.
