I saw the https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... =120#proxy
we recommend that you follow the rule: not more than 2 tasks per 1 CPU core. and this

" no more than 2 tasks per 1 CPU core"
I'm not sure if I has physical 16 core that I can create Max concurrent tasks 16 tasks or 32 tasks?

Re: Please assist Task Limitation for Backup Proxies
Hi,
This depends a little bit of what roles are running on the same machine.
If you have a all-in-one VBR server and you use lots of different roles at the same time 32 may be a little too much while if you run only the proxy role 32 should be fine.
The good thing is you can start with 32 and de-or increase it once you did some backups and you can see how saturated the server is.
