pls assist Hardening linux with immutable backup copy to RDX
if I have Hardening linux with immutable and need to offsite by RDX. Can I utilize hardening linux repo server for RDX

Hi Jareewan
No, that's not possible. A linux hardened repository is based on a linux system with fixed local attached disks or attached iSCSI/FC LUNs (not recommended for a hardened repo!).
If you have RDX Drives, use them as a rotated backup repository and switch the disks on a regular basis. Backups should be immutable or airgapped. With RDX you have airgapped backups.

Does I can't plug RDX into linux hardened server because using the single-use credential?

I read your answer again and I understand now better. Sorry for the confusion.
You can use a RDX Drive, just not connect it to the Linux hardened repo. You must connect it to another machine. For example your windows backup server or any managed server. Then add it as an additional backup repository with the option „rotated drive“.
