Hi,
Our Linux /tmp partitions are very small. The Guest File Index creation process writes the /tmp full and breaks. Is it possible to change the work directory in a config file or similar?
Thanks for helping infos

Re: Possible to change Linux guest index work directory?
Hi,
Currently there is no conventional way of changing that path, I will file it as a feature request. Have you tried creating a symlink to the existing file and moving it to another partition so that the process would work with symlink instead of the actual file? Also, may I ask you how big is the database, how much do you index, and how big is your /tmp?
Thanks

Re: Possible to change Linux guest index work directory?
I'm not realized that the vindex directory stays the same by name because it has a UUID in name. I tested it, the name always stays the same. I then solved it via a symbolic link.
Thanks for the info and idea
