Pre-freeze or Post-thaw script problems

Post by rjlewis »

I have a server which uses pre-freeze and post-thaw scripts that only works properly sometimes. I have set the backup to ignore errors in the application processing. In the backup last night, the pre-backup script did not have a problem, but the post-backup script did. It appears that I get the error when a folder id fails to be created on the backup proxy. The exit code line is reported in the backup report.

The following is an extract from the backup log for the machine in question:

Hi,

It's not clear what kind of scripts you actually use: a pre-job script or pre-freeze (two different things), and which one has failed?

Thanks

The scripts are pre freeze and post freeze as specified in the application aware configuration for one particular host.

Such access error might mean that there was a problem with credentails. However the fact that the pre-freeze script worked fine means that the credentials were fine as the same proxy is used for both pre and post scripts thus it could be a proxy disconnection. Please contact support team for a deeper investigation and post your case ID here.

Thank you.
