problems with failover replica

Post by randomb »

Hello Dear Veeamers,

we accidential started a failover for replica vm, but the old host (that died) was on ip: 192.168.13.5 , new host is 192.168.13.10

Is there a way to undo the failover - it just seems stuck ? and if i try undo it fails due to the failover thinks it has to connect to 192.168.13.5 but there isent anything there :-(

Currently im in the middle of restoring another host so i cant do much from the veeam itself, just wondering if anyone did encounter that

veeam version: 6.1 patch1

Please advise :-(

Lars, If you cannot failover to your source host due to host IP address change, then please use Veeam replication job to transfer your VM replica back to the production storage/host. Thanks!
