Question about: Error: Unable to process workload: license has been exceeded

Post by User56 »

Hello,

9.5.4.2866 update 4 / community edition

Today I removed one older virtual maschine and added a virtual maschine.
Before today everythink was running fine.
Then I rightclicked the JOB and pressed Start. (you think right click active full is better?)
All 8 VMs were backuped success, but the new one this had Error:
26.01.2020 11:30:55 :: Error: Unable to process workload: license has been exceeded

We have two jobs.
Job 1: 9 VMs for esxi Host 1
Job 2: 1 VM for esxi Host 2

Thx for your help, best regards

Hi User56,
check under File - License - Instances - Manage to see where your 10 free instances are assigned to. There should be old VM in the list, one that you are not backing up anymore. Hit Revoke and it will free up allocated instance unit for new VM backups.
/Cheers!

thx,
it says: File - License - Register Instances
I just revoked the old VM, thx!

Now this windows it says:
Count 9
Instances 9

If I click manage on the right I can´t see the new VM.
I think I have to wait until tomorrow?

It should appear on the list upon the successful completion of the backup job. Thanks!
