Question about Incremental Restore
Hi everybody, as I know, Veeam V8 uses the VMware CBT not only for backup, but also for full-restore. My question is: does Veeam use the CBT for restore of any restore point, or only for the last (most recent) restore point (like VMware VDP does)?

For any, but these requirements should be met. Thanks.

Re: Question about Incremental Restore
Thank you Eremin, I see that there are no limitations about my doubt... but I was wondering how CBT (and the information it reads from ctk file) can know the differences about the data block of any restore point. The ctk stores only the differences from the last backup. Indeed VDP can uses CBT only for last restore point.

Re: Question about Incremental Restore
Corresponding CBT information is stored within each restore point, so we always can get the difference.
