Hello community,
is the Veeam.Backup.VmMigrator.exe utility supposed to work even if no vCenter Server is involved ?
More specifically, we will need to re-map existing Virtual Machines (currently registered in a Standalone ESXi host running VMware ESXi 5.5 Update 3) in a new Standalone ESXi host running VMware ESXi 6.7 U2. No vCenter Server is involved. All Virtual Machines reside in a Lenovo Storwize v3700 LUN (both the old and the new Standalone ESXi host have no Local storage).
Thank you in advance and have a great rest of the day ahead.
Regards,
Massimiliano

Re: Question regarding the Veeam.Backup.VmMigrator.exe utility
We haven't tested such scenario, but it should work in theory. You can backup database first and try it out.
Should the migration not work as expected, just restore the database.
Thanks!
