Questions about Explorer for Exchange
We had to perform a complete postbox restore. This restore is broken. Is there a possibility to restart the restore and restore only those items that have not yet been restored.
There is an option "Missing items". Is that the option that we have to use?
Thanks in advance any help.
Best regards
Harald

Re: Questions about Explorer for Exchange
Correct. It will look what is not in the mailbox but at the backup and will restore it.

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for the answer. That helps and I can retry the restore of the remaining items.
Best regards
Harald

You can later use the "compare" tool (button at top menue) to check if backup and mailbox matches as needed.

Great Hint, THANKS. I had some restore item errors and don't know which items are affected. So I can check it.

Re: Questions about Explorer for Exchange
Hello Andreas, where can I find the compare tool? In the Exchange explorer or in the Veeam main console?

Re: Questions about Explorer for Exchange
Sorry, maybe I'm too stupid, but in Veeam Explorer for Exchange I can't find a compare option, no matter where I'm looking. In Explorer for Active Directory I know such a feature.
Where is it in Exchange Explorer?

Potentially you are not on Backup & Replication v9.5 Update 4?

Look at the screenshots here. You can find the compare button on the top of the UI screenshot.

Grrhh, now I found the compare function. It is new in 9.5 update 4. The customer has U3 at the moment. I have to update.
