I'm trying to use Veeam to migrate a Virtual Machine on one ESXi host to another. No shared storage, no vcenter. The VM has one of its disks dedicated to one datastore. The virtual disk and the datastore are both full. I've tried doing a quick migration while the VM is running but it fails. Based on what I see, Veeam suspends the Virtual Machine and attempts to make a snapshot of the disks - but the datastore has no room and the job fails. If I turn off the Virtual Machine before attempting the migration does Veeam act differently? Will it just copy over the disks instead of trying to snapshot them, or is there a better way to achieve the migration?
Thanks,

Re: Quick Migration without snapshots
If you turn off the virtual machine, you will be able to copy its disks using file management functionality (Files tab). Quick migration job will always create a snapshot, because the processed VM can be powered on at any time during the copy.
