Hi,
Is there a way to automatically (job) create a cold backup of a VM that can be manually spun up when desired? I've been looking at failover and CDP but both require 2 clusters. I have one cluster with 2 hosts (plus a third non cluster host used for surebackup + cloud). I don't really need full HA ability, but I do want to be able to start up the VM (well actually several of them) quickly. I would like to be able to create these cold backups frequently (every hour).

Re: Quick VM recovery
Normal VM Replication (without CDP) can work host to host within same cluster, even same host replication. You can schedule the job hourly.
As well you can use Backup + Instant VM Recovery to achieve similar results.
