I have my primary BR server backing up everything, and I have a offsite Debian server as a managed server for my offsite NAS.
Question is when a BackupCopy Job is at the Merging incremental into full backup, I'm assuming this task is being handled by the managed server (debian in this case). If I needed to reboot my primary BR server would this task complete if it lost communication to the primary backup server and just report its status when the primary BR server came back up?

Re: Reboot BR while Proxy runs task
Hi,
All tasks are controlled by Veeam backup server, so if you reboot it, this task will fail due to losing communication to Veeam process manager on the backup server.
Thanks!

Re: Reboot BR while Proxy runs task
Actually it might not fail immediately and continue merging, however, will eventually fail on further finalizing tasks, since they require communication with the backup server. Corresponding restore point will be unusable and the merging process will start from scratch during the next cycle.
