I am using the actual Veeam Backup & Replication in a virtual System (ESXi 6.7, Windows server 2016) since years
and like to find drives which a working fine.
Some years ago I tried a tape drive from Dell and it was not usable in a virtual System (passthrough?)
does anybody can give me a list of drives which are running well in this combination?

That was an internal tape drive with an controller. LTO7 with HBA330+ Controller
That was not usable in ESXI 6.5 and an Windows Server 2016 Installation. Dell knowed it and I could send
both back. Until today I can only make Veeam backups to disk
