Red X error and failure to close all VDDK disks

Case number 00200449: Getting a red x error on hard disk 2 (last disk) on third and last vm (Admin) during backup, and another error indicating failed to close all VDDK disks after that. Snapshot seems to work fine, error is after that. Admin does not have SQL Server on it, is a domain controller and file server.

We are backing up to usb external hard disk, with plenty of space. The error is always on this vm and disk, but does not always occur. It occurs on different hard disks.

Any ideas?

Only deep dive into the job logs can give a hint here, so please continue investigating with support. Some kind of environmental issue probably.
