REFS RAW

Post by BostjanUNIJA »

Hi.
We are currently trying to migrate VBR 12 from virtual machine (OS 2022) to Physical server (OS 2019).
Backup repository is represented over ISCI pointing to NAS Synology volume.
Backup repository has been formated with REFS.
When we dettach ISCSI connection from OS 2022 and attach it to OS 2019, the OS2019 is unable to see files, it shows volume as RAW.
Is there any difference between REFS OS 2022 and OS 2019?
With best regards

Windows Server 2022 comes with a newer ReFS version which is incompatible with earlier releases. Therefore you'll only be able to mount the volume on a system with the same or higher Windows build.
