Removing VM and Helper Snapshot
Is it possible to change this so that they both are removed at the same time ? As it stands now the VM snapshot is removed first and the helper snapshot starts when the first is finished. For me these are on two different SAN's and there would be no impact that i can see where these can't be removed at the same time.
In some cases this could mean a significant time saving.
I understand that this might not be the case for everyone, but maybe put it as an option that people can choose ?

Hi Lars,
Just to make sure we are on the same page - do you have two snapshot during the backup job?
Thanks!

I see i forgot to mention thatthis is regarding replication where you have one snapshot for the source and one for the target replica.

Oh, now it makes more sense Unfortunately, there is no way to change this behavior right now, but thanks for the feedback! I will run this idea by or dev team.

Yes please do so. For me it would mean that i save another 30-60 seconds every job and at this point that is 25 % timesaving, but for someone else this could potentially save a lot of time if they replicate seldom because then the source snapshot would be very large and the other snapshot would have to wait for that time before getting committed.

Re: Removing VM and Helper Snapshot
Hi Lars,
We have agreed that it might be a good addition to our next releases, so I will put it in the internal feature tracker.
Thanks for the tip!
