Hello.
I have a current Veeam server running server 2008 with 18TB of disk storage and a Tape Library attached.
I have purchased a new server to replace this that has a better spec and more storage and runs Server 2016.
The current server has a replication partner in our DR site that we replicate about 20 VM's to.
We also backup Physical servers to this server as well.
The SQL database is hosted on an external SQL server.
We are running 9.5 Update 2 on all Veeam servers.
Do you have some documentation on the best process for migrating to the new server?
I need to be able to test the migration in stages, migrate a small non critical backup first before migrating the critical production servers.
Regards
Lee Gregory

Re: Replacing existing Veeam sevrer
Hi Lee,
You should be on the safe side with the native migration tool of Veeam B&R.
Please review this article in the User Guide related to the migration process. Thanks!
