Re: REPLICA FROM VM ESXI 8.02 TO ESXI 7.03U
Hi Danilo
Welcome to the forum.
The error message is clear. You are trying to replicate a VM with hardware version 21 to a ESXI server v7.03. Default version for VMs created on ESXI 8.02 is v21.
But ESXi v7.03 only supports vm hardware version 19 and older: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2007240
It's a limitation enforced by VmWare and not by Veeam.
You have two options:
- Option 1: Update your target ESXI server to V8.02 (recommended)
- Option 2: Downgrade the hardware version of your VM: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1028019 → Create a new virtual machine with required hardware version and attach the existing disk from the virtual machine.
Best,
Fabian
