Replica with WAN Accelerator poor performance

Hi there,

we have a small setup for a development environment.
On production site we have one standalone ESX Host with local storage hosting 4 VM. One of them ist our Veeam Backup Server with all roles installed. (Backup Proxy and WAN Accelerator)
Metadata are stored on a QNAP via CIFS Share, connected via 1 GBit over network.

On the DR-Site we have another ESX Host also with local storage. A VM on the DR ESX Host has the proxy and WAN accelerator role installed and configured.

We try to replicate 3 VMs from prod site to DR site over WAN Accelerator.
2 VMs nearly have 2 TB Data Disks. When starting the replica the calculating digests duration is min. 12 hours.
Is this behavior and the performance normal?
We have setup one replication job per vm and manually setup the source and target backup proxies and wan accelerators.

Maybe we missed something in our setup.

You'd better place all 3 VMs inside one replication job, specify a pair of WAN Accelerators for it. Let the job finish its initial cycle (that might be time consuming indeed, as a lot of steps have to be performed first time, like digest calculation, etc.) and see whether subsequent passes are also marked with degraded performance. Hi Eremin,

i will give it a try. Job is now setting up with all vms included.
Now we will see after initial sync and over the we how the performance is next week
