Replication after moving from 9.0 to 9.5

Quick question, after performing the aforementioned migration, if CBT is turned on, will the first round of replication need to do a full copy over of all data ? Or is it smart enough to pick up where it left off and use the CBT to perform the usual incremntal replication cycle ?
