Replication fails over wan with VSS Policy error

Hello

I have constant failures when replicating over WAN. I am replicating 2 vms. One file server and one exchange server. The issue always happens only with the exchange server. Sometimes it does the replication fine but 90% of the times it comes up with an error saying FAILED TO CREATE PROCESSING TASK FOR VM EXCHANGEVM. ERROR FAILED TO FIND APPROPRIATE VSS POLICY FOR THE VM EXCHANGEVM

Can you please help me figure out what the problem might be?

We have veeam7 update3 running in another environment.
We are seeing backup failures with the following error:

Failed to create processing task for VM <vmname and description> Failed to find appropriate VSS policy for the VM.

Does anyone know what this means as the logs show nothing...

Agreed. To get you started though, in my experience this error usually has nothing to do with VSS, and occurs because the job fails to contact a host or vCenter at a particular early stage of the job session.
