Hi,
We have created a replication job with multiple vms. However we want to prevent replication during the day, doing so with an allowed window in the job settings. What will happen with a running replication of a vm, when this window ends and replication is disallowed. Is the running replication process abrupt terminated or gracefully / will this impact next replication of the terminated replica ?
Thanks !

Re: Replication Window Impact
Hi,
If the job exceeds the allowed window, it is automatically terminated. If you define the backup window for the job that runs periodically at specific time intervals, VBR will start the job after the denied window is over. All subsequent backup job session will be performed by the specified settings.

Re: Replication Window Impact
Yes, it doesn`t harm any services or backup files. Moreover backup window affects only the data transport process. Transform operations can be performed on the target repository outside the backup window.
