Repository concurrent tasks change

Hi,

If I change the concurrent tasks on the repository, but there is a job running on it at the same time, does the change take effect immediately or does it not take effect until the next time the job runs on the repository?

Tasks are assigned at the start of the backup activity, so such change does not affect running jobs. Cheers!
