Repository Lockup -100% CPU
We are having a strange issue with a Veeam Repository that I am wondering if anyone else has seen. Randomly during backups it becomes completely unresponsive. In vSphere we can see the CPU is at 100%. Console is completely unresponsive. This VM is just a Veeam respository... Nothing else. This respository is our main backup repository. We are not seeing this on either of our two backup copy repositories. We are running Veeam 9.5 Update 3a but this was happening previously as well. We have only been using Veeam for a couple months and have randomly seem this since we installed. We are running vSphere 6.5 Update 2 so that could be having an impact I guess.

Re: Repository Lockup -100% CPU
Hi Matt,
If you see that CPU utilization is caused by backup job activity you can either reduce the number of maximum concurrent tasks on your repository or add more CPU/RAM resources to this VM. Thanks!

Re: Repository Lockup -100% CPU
Some additional details about your setup would help. Is it a separate VM that acts only as repository and hos no other roles within Veeam B&R?
