Hi,
I have configured an Esxi Server to use as a laboratory. In my datacenter in production (3 Hosts with Vcenter) I use veeam to backup all the VMs. In the Veeam virtual infrastructure I added the standalone Esxi. Is it possible to restore a backup of a VM connected to the datacenter with Vcenter to the standalone Esxi that I use as a laboratory?
Thank you

Re: Restore Backup to standalone Hosts
Hello,
yes, you can restore to "everywhere". That means standalone ESXi hosts, different vSphere environments, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, AWS, Azure...
Best regards,
Hannes
PS: just make sure that the standalone ESXi has a license. Free ESXi is unsupported because it lacks backup API
