restore crashed server
Hi Guys,
One of our Veeam server is crashed, we have reinstalleerd it and used the configuration backup with the files of our SAN
right now it said : Note that all jobs are disabled after configuration restore. Do not enable them back until Veeam Backup & Replication synchronizes the restored configuration data with the actual state of backups and replicas on disk. You can monitor the synchronization progress using the Configuration Database Resynchronize session under History tab of the management tree.
i managed to find the location on the history and i just need to know how long does it takes to finish the
Run shell and infrastructuur gescan, its been running nu for over 3 hrs and no changes yet .
thank you

Re: restore crashed server
Julien,
It can take some time because besides the configuration data, it also needs to rescan the entire repository. Please keep us informed on the status, if it still continues after a long time, you might need to contact support to figure out what is happening

You can open a support ticket and let support team investigate which particular step took longer than expected. Thanks.

Re: restore crashed server
Julien,
I agree with Vladimir... Please open a support ticket as soon as possible so our engineers can review these logs from the weekend. It would be good to know what was causing it to take that amount of time. If it is something related to us, we can start looking for a solution, and if it is something in your environment, then we can warn you what was causing it, which is information I'm sure you would love to have
Thanks
Mike
