Hello All.
I contact Veeam Support about failed restore.
Case number is 03519522
Restore failed with the error below.
===
2019/04/17 20:46:09 Error Failed to restore file: IZK-TFSV_4-flat.vmdk Error: Failed to decompress LZ4 block: Incorrect decompression result or length (result: '-1029916', expected length: '1048576').
Unable to receive file.
Exception from server: Shared memory connection was closed.

The customer said that small size vm can restore but large size vm (30TB) failed restore.
I asked the customer to perform active full and then restore again use new restore point.
But restore point status (.vbk) always display corrupted.
I did not know why this vm's vbk is corrupted.

Re: Restore failed
Hello, thanks for posting here.
The support case is onging and I would like to wait until we have a result on the support case.
Based on the above and the support case, the mentioned VM has some issues on the VMware side and need Snapshot consolidation first. Based on translation of the case there is some data corruption in the original VM and support offered a method to restore this VM.
If you think the support case do not go as expected or in needed time, you can use the "contact a support manager" button within the support case to escalate it.

Hello Andreas,
Thank you for the reply.
Okay, I will escalate this case.

Is this operation have to do?

Re: Restore failed
Independant from the support case. What storage and file system do you use at the backup target?
