Hi all
I have archived some VMs to a NAS (declared as a backup repository) and want to restore one of them back to ESXi. The VM is no longer on ESXi and no Veeam job exists for this VM.
I don't have vCenter and my Veeam license is Essentials Standard (currently using v11). The Restore wizard for full VM from backup allows browsing to select a backup only from existing jobs.
Can you suggest the way?
Many thanks
Alexis

Re: Restore from VM Copy on NAS
Hello Alexis
A backup job is not required for a restore. The backups of the non-existent VMs should still be listed in the backup console on the left side. Either as orphaned or imported. If they are not listed, you can import the backup manually (vbm or vbk file):
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
After the import, you can start the restore.

Best,
Fabian
