Good day! I made a backup linux vm (RHEL 6). Is it possible to restore individual files and folders that BM together with the rights to them.
Directly "inside" VM

Re: Restore individual files and folders and their rights wi
Hello, and welcome to the forums. Kindly please review the sticky FAQ topic in the main forum, as it will answer most questions you may have about our product, including your question.
Yes, you can do that, this is one of the restore options we provide. This option will be enabled when restoring to the same or different Linux system. Here is the corresponding User's Guide page for more information.
Thanks!

Re: Restore individual files and folders and their rights wi
Thanks. But I need help.
I added the console veeam (backup infrastructure) test vm c centos (like Linux server), made a backup copy. When I add Linux server(my test linux VM), on the Advanced tab I choose these parameters:
Username: root
Password : root password
Service console connection: ssh port 22, ssh timeout 100000 ms.
Data transfer options: port range 2500 to 5000
Packet size 64 kB
Preffered TCP connection rule: radio button selected
Next, select:
Restore->Guest file(other OS)->Select test VM copy->selected restore point-> on tab «customize» I select->esx host(the same, where source test VM)->select ip parameter of FLR
Next, run file-level restore appliance
Select in open tree recoverable files (/test/111.txt), right click on the restored file.
Select destination->Server(enter the ip my test Linux VM), path or folder (enter /test). Select radio button «preserve permissions and ownership» and press «Restore» button.
I Failed to connect to agent «ip of my test linux vm», EP «ip of my test linux vm:2500». A connection attempt failed because the connected perty did not propertly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond «ip of my test linux vm:2500».
What am I doing wrong?
