I'm trialing B&R v8, and I have a Windows 2012 R2 VM as my B&R server & repository.
I've run backups of the same VMs to a) a standard NTFS volume and b) a deduped NTFS volume. Oddly I'm finding that the dedupe restores (hotadd) run at least as quick as the non-deduped. Actually, faster! Struggling to explain this. Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Restore Speeds with Dedupe
Hi,
Thank you.
What was the size difference between two backups?I've run backups of the same VMs to a) a standard NTFS volume and b) a deduped NTFS volume.
Thank you.

Re: Restore Speeds with Dedupe
Also, what are deduplication settings for that volume?
