Going to be adding a new ESXi host to my network, but it will be at a remote site and not managed by vCenter or Veeam (money constraint).
However, the VM that I need to move to the new host is currently on host that is backed up by Veeam and part of vCenter.
Since I have a good backup of the VM, I thought I could just run a restore to the new host, but is that possible since I don't have enough licenses to cover the new hardware?
Can I use the free version of Veeam to restore from my existing backups?

Re: Restore VM to un-managed host
Hi Jonathan,
Yes, you can do that.
The target host does not need to be licensed. Thanks!
