Hi,
I didn't want to open a ticket for this because its not a huge deal, but I am using Veeam BR 12.3 and whenever I do a restore of a VM(while checking off the _restored suffix), it never seems to register the restored VM in VCenter(7.0.3). I always have go into the datastore where the restored files are and highlight the .vmx file to register it. Anyone know what might be wrong?
I know this used to work at some point last year it used to register, then it just stopped.
Thanks

Re: Restored VMs not registering in VCenter
Hi Mark,
I fully understand that you do not want to open a ticket for a problem that does not seriously impact your restore strategy, but I still think it would be best to let our engineers work with the logs. To me, this failed attempt to register a VM looks like a technical issue, and it may just be a symptom of another, more significant infrastructural problem. Please don't forget to share the support case ID.
Thanks!
