Restoring OnPremise VMware backup to Azure Resource group?
Hi Everyone,
I'm using Veeam Backup & Replication 10.0.0.4461 to backup all of my VMware vSphere Windows Server VMs to local NAS servers.
I wonder if it is possible to restore the backup into Azure Resource group as Azure VM?
If yes, let me know what steps or the procedure to take.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks, Egor,
Does this helper appliance https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100 will cost us monthly fee when deployed but not used?

@albertwt
After restore is done, both Azure Proxy and Helper appliance are preserved in powered off state with deallocated resources. Thus, Azure charges only for keeping VM disks in Azure Storage in the meantime. Thanks!

@Gostev, yes it is
@Oleg, that's great, at least only the disk space is charged.
Very nice and great concept from Veeam, thank you for the assistance in this matter Oleg, Egor & Gostev.
