retention policy & keep full backup copy

Dear All,
I have 2 backups jobs as below:
job1 Tue-Sat at 12:30am Sat do the full backup & other is increment & set retention policy is 4
job2 Mon-Sat at 12:30pm Sat do the full backup & other is increment & set retention policy is 5.

It is because we do not have enough disk space so I only want to keep each backup contain 1 full backup only. That mean when the latest full backup completed, it delete the previous full backup.
BUT I find it does not do it automatically?
Can anyone tell me how set the retention or other setting to fulfill my requirement?

Most likely you have either active or synthetic fulls enabled. If you want to maintain a single full in the chain, take a look at the forever forward incremental backup method.
