Running Backups to Job whilst VM is published

Hi,

Simple question we have a job with around 14 VMs in it.

We are carrying out some test restores using Instant recovery into a fenced isolated environment.

We have 3 VM's being published via Instant recovery.

My question is should the 14 production VMs in this job be able to continue to backup whilst these published VMs are still active?

We are seeing that they cant and we got a file locked error for all the VMs in the job. All other Jobs are fine.

Once we have stopped publishing the Instant Recovery VM's the backups work for this job again.

David, when Instant Recovery is performed, Veeam B&R mounts a VM image directly from a backup file, which obviously needs to be locked while recovered VM is running. Thanks.
