SAN access level restore

Post by EBoucq » Dec 19, 2016 2:53 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to restore an entire vm thru the SAN. all the disks presented to my Veeam server have the "Current read-only state" to NO but the restore log shows :

"Failed to make disk 'Bus 0 Lun 14 Target 1 Port 3' writable....
Invoke failed. Command: 'DiskManagement.MakeWriteable',....
Error Device not found. (Veeam.Backup.Common.CCppComponentException)...
Error Agent failed to process method {DiskManagement.MakeWriteable}. (Veeam.Backup.Common.CCppComponentException)...."

Any idea please?
Thanks,
Eric

I forgot to mention that even if the restore seems to work, when it reaches the 5th disk (200 GB), it hangs around 80 GB restored...

Yes, please contact support as they should have a private fix for this issue (MPIO related). Thanks.
