Hello There,
I would like to know if having a physical server, as proxy/repository, with multiple volumes (formatted with the good REFS command of course) can use mount points instead of letters ? REFS does support mount points, what about Veeam and SOBR ?
So I will have a SOBR with "data locality policy" and for example two extends: MyProxy&Repositoryserver c:\mountpoints\Extend1 and MyProxy&Repositoryserver c:\mountpoints\Extend2.
Any feedbacks, experiences ?
Thanks

Re: Scale-Out Backup Repository REFS & Mount Points
Hello Christian,
You should be able to use mount points for SOBR creation, but it's a rare approach to be honest.
Theoretically, it can work as expected.
Please share the results of testing here in the thread. Thanks!
