Scheduled run once backup
Cannot seem to find an option to run a backup once only on a specified date and time?

Mark, I believe the only way to do this is to trigger the job via Windows Task Manager.

What is the use case of running scheduled backup only once? Can you please clarify?

Re: Scheduled run once backup
We are not ready to place our Veeam into a live environment, so we are testing scheduled backups which means these will not need to be re-run during this phase.Vitaliy S. wrote:What is the use case of running scheduled backup only once? Can you please clarify?
There are also cases where there is no need to perform periodic backups, such as VM's where data does not change but running during a day is not appropriate.

Ok, in this case you can potentially use ad-hoc backup functionality or follow foggy's advice.

You can either use a command line from the Summary page of the job's wizard or the Start-VBRJob PowerShell cmdlet.

Re: Scheduled run once backup
If you need it for testing purpose, you can schedule the job to run daily or monthly, wait until first run is complete and turn off the schedule.
