Graham,

Do you mean support for item recovery or just backup?

Thanks!

Hi Vitaliy

Both, i see references to sharepoint 2010 but not 2013.

We are still using Veeam 6.5.

Veeam SharePoint Explorer that is a special tool for restoring SharePoint granular data nowadays supports only SharePoint 2010. However, there are plans to extend it further in the future releases.

As to backup, VM that runs any version of Sharepoint can be successfully backed up by Veeam Backup and Replication. Though, be sure to enable Application Aware Image Processing option. This option is necessary for backuping VMs that run VSS-aware applications (such as Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint), since this functionality guarantees backup transactional consistency of such VMs.

Thanks.
