SharePoint Item Restore - Searching for SQL-Server...

Hi,

i want to know if it is normal that, if i start a sharepoint item restore session, the searching part for the SQL server takes up to 15 Minutes ?
And if not, how can i bring the time to a normal level ?

Hi Benjamin, I recommend contacting support for a closer look at what really happens. It is not clear what stage do you mean by "the searching part for the SQL server". The fact is that SQL Server validation upon Veeam Explorer for SharePoint start is limited by a one-minute timeout, while further backup mount and database attachment can take really long, depending on database size and several other reasons.
