Hi,
is it possible to shutdown a vm befor doing backup / start it after backup ?
the vm in this case is configured with a pci-passtrue device.
with this configuration is it not possible to do a snapshot ...

I believe, it should be possible with the usage of PowerShell (Veeam PSSnapin in conjunction with VMware PowerCLI). From my perspective, the algorithm should be as the following:
• Shutdown a given VM (PowerCLI)
• Start a VB&R Job (Veeam PSSnapin)
• Once the snapshot of VM is taken, poweron a VM (PowerCLI)
