Snapshot LUN and explorer without ESX

Hi, is veeam able to communicate directly to a hp lefthand and make a snapshot of a LUN even if this one is not a VMFS and it isn't mounted by an esx server? And if yes, could it also use the snapshot explorer and backup the data?

Valentino, correct, volumes not mounted to any host cannot be used for backup using storage snapshots. However, if it was mounted previously and contains some VMs, it can be rescanned and VMs can be restored.
