Hi ,
For the sql 2014 mirror backup, can I use Veeam Agent backup to do the backup or vmware snapshot to do the backup?
I can see a Veeam SQL backup guide relate to sql failover cluster with RAW MAP disk.

just to verify: you are using this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/da ... erver-2017 feature which is about to be removed from SQL?
You are not using SQL always ON cluster with database mirroring ?
Raw device mappings do not support VMware snapshots. If VMware snapshots are not possible, then you can use the agent. But depending on your scenario, I'm not sure whether a database restore will be supported.
