SQL AIR wizard, SQL server 2012
Hello
I am unable to find my newest SQL servers when i click browse for servername in the wizard.
I only se my 2005 and 2008 servers. If 2012 is not supported, is there any ETA on this?

Espen, Veeam B&R 6.0 does not support SQL Server 2012. Support will be added in the future versions, no ETA currently.

Re: SQL AIR wizard, SQL server 2012
Ok..
How do I go about getting some deleted records back from my 2012 SQL DB with veeam?
I launched a SureBackup job and opened the VM, and the data is in the backup. I find no way to move the data from the SureBackup job/Lab to the prododuction environment.
Should i do a instant Recovery, and not boot the VM with network and just change name and ip, get the data off, and power down?
Or a complete restore to another location..
Any tips is welcome.

Why not rip off the needed data in your SureBackup environment and access it over your Veeam server?

Re: SQL AIR wizard, SQL server 2012
how?
I was not able to access the the filesystem on the server in the Lab/Surebackup environment from my veeam server.
Or the other way around for that matter.
The server in the surebackup envoronment got a ip of 10.0.0.2.
I was able to ping that ip from Veeam server, but it continued to answer on ping requests even when i disonnected the network card.
So I guess it was just the proxy responding.
I managed to do a instant revovery, change name and ip, connect network and get the data off.
But it would be nice to know how to transfer data from the surebackup environment to the veeam server..

Just take a look into this topic:
Surebackup couple of basic questions
It should explain everything you need. If not just PM me.
Greetz,
