SQL jobs still failling because vmwaretools are not running(while they are there)

lately we have a lot of issues with the VMware tools in combination with SQl backup

for example

4-9-2020 12:38:06 :: VMware Tools are not running
4-9-2020 12:38:11 :: Transaction logs for the following databases were not backed up: DEINSTANCE00\master;DEINSTANCE00\model;

tools are running we have tried to restart the vmwaretool we have tried reinstalling them. But is seems that im missing something.


already opened a case 04371053, but im afraid that the answer will be go to 10a (we are planning to go to that level but we are a big company and we need the follow the procedure to install a update and we cannot just implement a new update)

You could potentially ask if there is a way to backport the change/patch to your Veeam version at our support? Or was that already discussed and not possible?

I would suggest investigating it with the help of our support engineers to determine the root cause and take it from there. As far as I see you raised a support case just recently. If any help is required from our side - just let us know.
